CHARACTERS
BLU
Our main character Blu is a young, creative, adventurous, live-streamer, cook, and inventor. With the discovery of an ancient cookbook, Blu’s viewers join him on his crazy culinary journey. His insuppressible enthusiasm, coupled with his naivety, ensures that adventure and comedy collide at every corner.
Blu himself has an empathic personality. His interactions with his best friend and pet Luna, and other characters and creatures, are both hilarious and heart-warming.
LUNA
Think of Luna as the eager pet always at Blu’s side. Abandoned, Blu befriended her after feeding her leftovers. Shy at first, Luna’s stomach soon entrusts her to Blu.
Luna is seen by others as Blu’s pet, but in her eyes, she is Blu’s best friend and ‘sidekick’. She is greedy, smart, over-eager - but all heart. Luna, like any pet, is always awaiting her next meal, chattering away, and always under Blu’s feet. Although quite slight in size, she can stretch many times over to accommodate her vast appetite. Sometimes getting the pair into trouble - and sometimes it saves the day.
OTTO
Otto is the owner and manager of the burger chain ‘Otto’s’ - serving unhealthy, greasy fast food.
His sales are down as customers begin to eat healthier, more interesting food. He’s desperate in getting his hands on Blu’s ancient cookbook, thinking it’ll change his fortune.
TRIBESMEN
Each planet the pair visits is the home of a different indigenous tribe, whom have adapted to their strange and wonderful environments. They are the protectors of the secrets of the cookbook’s ingredients.
THE GUARDIANS
The guardians are enormous creatures that have evolved from the very centre of the planets they inhabit. They live in harmony with their planet and the Tribes people, but DO NOT like visitors.
GASTROPOD
The Gastropod is Blu & Luna’s ride. It’s a small, state of the art drop ship fueled by cooking oil.
SCOOT
Scoot is Blu’s one-wheeled electric scooter, designed for swift land travel.
